Here at the Fishpond if there is one thing we know…it’s pizza. We have been perfecting our pizza dough over the years and are confident we have the perfect recipe. Our delicious sourdough base along with our fresh toppings cooked in our woodfired oven create the perfect taste of Italy right here in Matlock bath.
Our dough is made every day from Neapolitan ‘00’ flour. We use only the finest San Marzano tomatoes for our sauce and fior di latte mozzarella cheese imported directly from Naples. Our cured meats are courtesy of Cobble Lane ‘born in London Bred in Britain’
Last year we decided to create our very own pizza hut out on our terrace. We imported our incredible woodfired pizza oven direct from Italy and decked out our hut with all the equipment needed to create our pizza masterpieces, if you ever sit on our terrace, you will see our very talented chefs cooking up a storm inside.
We are just as passionate about beer, we have a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on our bar.
All of our real ales are sourced within a 25-mile radius of our pub here in Matlock Bath, we have a few regular breweries that you will see quite often but are always keen to try new breweries and always keep our selection fresh. We try and keep a selection of pale, copper and dark ales providing a good choice whatever your palette. We also have a great selection of red, white and rose wines available on our bar alongside a wide range of lagers, ciders and soft drinks.

With the sun starting to peek through those clouds it means we can now open our beautiful 3 tier terrace where during the week you can enjoy the fresh air and a beverage and, on the weekends, enjoy our wonderful menu too!
