It went so well we just HAD to do it again…
If you have visited The Fishpond before you will know we are no strangers to music. Every Friday and Saturday we have a whole selection of live bands to entertain our customers. We also have acoustic acts 3 Thursdays of the month and an open mic night every Sunday! We feel music is such a big part of what we do here we will find any excuse to add more dates to our diary… so that’s exactly what we have done!
Last year we trialled our very own music festival with three different stages and over 15 different artists over 1 day and it was an absolute triumph, we even got a surprise visit from Mr Lynval Golding from the specials! This year we have decided to go bigger and better with over 20 artists playing over 2 days on our 3 stages.
The festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday 6th & 7th of July from 12pm
- Stage 1 will be in the main bar where there will be a wide range of acoustic artists
- Stage 2 is on our middle terrace, there will be several incredible bands playing on this stage
- Stage 3 will be set up on our top tier carpark where the bands will play down over our whole outside area
Along side all of the amazing music there will also be some of our delicious food to enjoy. Our chefs will be busy making some of our infamous pizzas and we will also have our grill out the front of the pub serving some fresh homemade street food.
We also have a tap takeover from the brilliant Ashover brewery where we will have a wide selection of Ashover ales and merchandise available. You will also have the chance to meet the brewers and ask any questions you may have about how they create their delicious ales
